Calling your lawmaker might seem intimidating, but it's actually very easy! Here's everything you need to find and call your representatives in D.C.
STEP 1: Find your lawmaker.

Your two senators and one representative will be displayed with contact information
STEP 2: Call your lawmaker.
The person answering the phone will ask you personal information like your name and zip code, this is normal.
STEP 3: Tell your lawmaker. what you want.
All you need to say is who you are, where you are from, and what you want them to do. Remember to include the following things in your message:
State your name, district, and who you are calling.
Hello! My name is Kayla Sloan. I’m a I’m a constituent from Florence and I’m calling to leave a message for Rep. Aderholt.
State why you are calling. Include the bill number or specific order and what action you’d like your lawmaker to take.
I’m calling to urge Rep. Aderholt to work to protect federal funding for the Institute of Museum and Library Services.
Extra Credit– tell them why.
Be specific, polite, and personal.
My local library is a lifeline for the entire community and provides so many essential services for me and my family.
